Sample Brain Bowl Questions

On this page you'll find some examples of bona fide, genuine questions actually asked at past state championship matches of the Florida Community Colleges Activities Association (FCCAA) Brain Bowl Tournament. The questions are divided into four categories: humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and mathematics.

The FCCAA tournament isn't the only one we participate in, though; to see examples of another style of question, see the Valencia Fall Tournament Sample Question Packet.

Remember, to be good at Brain Bowl, you don't have to be strong in all these areas; specialists are very valuable to the team. So try your hand at the following questions (pull down the menu at the end to see the answers) and see where you stand!
